PudozhThe largest Pudozh got the status of the town in 1785. This small town could easily boast of its successfully developing trade, there were 3 glass-producing plants built on the area of the town and Pudozh flax was being sold throughout the whole Europe. Today Pudozh is a peaceful provincial town. This is a taiga land and marshes, rivers and lakes have spinned a water web amidst the woods. One of the most fabulous places in the District is the Vodlozersky National park.
